Chapter 1299

EAA Chapter 1299 Meets the first Wednesday of the month at 19:00 in the Pilots Lounge above the hanger at the McMinnvile Municipal airport (KMMV).   Currently our members are working on a range of projects from Building Landing strips to Fiberglass and Metal experimental aircraft.  EAA Chapter 1299 also sponsors several Young Eagle opportunities and fly in events each year.

Membership dues for EAA 1299 are $20 a year.  Payable during the meetings to the treasurer.

The 2011 Flyin Lions club breakfast is over,  The Weather was beautiful, as were the cars and airplanes which showed up.   

1299 had a table which we handed out Sport Aviation and spread the enthusiasm for the Experimental Aircraft Association.

We sold 'Whirly Gigs' for $.50 which were a hit.

Over on the other side of the McMinnville Airport the rest of the chapter was busy scrubbing airplanes and getting soaked.

All in all, a good time was had by all.
